• curious about how ceramics are made?
• each of my pieces is handmade with love in san diego, ca. starting as a ball of clay, it's thrown on the wheel and left to air-dry just enough (usually 1-2 days). after trimming and adding special touches (bunnies... handles... doodles..), it's fired in the kiln. then, glazing process begins. once glazed the final firing can begin. seeing what a piece looks like after the final fire is always so exciting as ceramics is extreamly unpredictable and no two pieces will ever be exactly alike.
